Cannabis belongs to no one – it belongs to nature.

Hardly any plant is misunderstood as often. We use sourced facts to show what it is really about: history, botany, diversity and knowledge. Anyone can take part.

Hi, I’m Flo!

I’m a passionate hobby botanist and self-sufficiency enthusiast, and cannabis is the plant I have completely fallen in love with: the way it looks, the way it grows, the smell when you open the tent. I have been growing for many years, mostly feminised strains, now and then autoflowers. My big, rather over-the-top goal is to have grown every strain myself at least once someday. What fascinates me most right now is old genetics, meaning the landraces from Afghanistan, Nepal, Jamaica and many other regions.

What matters most to me when growing is really beautiful resin production. Here in I Grow Pedia I share what I have learned, including my mistakes, always with sources and honest when something is not yet firmly established.

How this wiki works

Facts with sources

Factual statements are backed by verifiable sources – preferably reviews, studies and official bodies.

Honest classification

Every finding is rated: well established or preliminary. If something is unclear, it says so.

Personal experience

My own observations appear in separate, colour-coded boxes – kept apart from the facts.

Look out for the little badges in the articles: they show you at a glance how certain a statement is – and where research is still in its early days.
